Practising pensions - Scotland’s first niche pensions law firm opens its doors

V I Pensions Law Limited opens for business today, 1 March 2012.  The brainchild of Vanessa Ingram, one of Scotland’s leading pensions lawyers, the firm provides legal advice on pensions law issues.

With core expertise in dealing with defined benefit (final salary) schemes, V I Pensions Law provides a wide variety of pensions law advice and also independent trustee services.

V I Pensions Law is an independent practice, the first of its kind in Scotland.  The firm capitalises on Ms Ingram’s enviable experience and focus.  Ms Ingram has been a pensions lawyer for over a decade, providing pensions law advice to a wide variety of clients including multi-national corporations, household names throughout the UK, pension scheme trustees, and individuals in relation to their pensions concerns.  Often singled out for praise for her client relationship skills, in particular her clear communication and ability to get to the heart of the matter, Ms Ingram gained a wealth of experience at leading commercial firms in Scotland before setting up V I Pensions Law Limited.

Commenting on the launch, Vanessa Ingram said: “With this practice I’m focusing on what I do best; providing client advice.I often describe myself as a problem solver and really enjoy working with clients to resolve their pensions issues.  There are a lot of pensions issues out there and I believe that V I Pensions Law is well placed to assist.  I’m delighted at the response so far to the launch.”
